Anyone out there using the 4550 Juniper as their SAN switch? I've ran across the 'EqualLogic PS Series Referecne ARchitecture for Juniper Networks EX4500 Two-Switch SAN Reference doc (from 2011), and tried to contact both Juniper and EQL for new documentation to no avail.
It looks like rstp needs to be enabled globaly. And then at the individual port level MTU=9216, RSTP Edge mode (portfast) enabled, and flow control
Any other useful settings I should know about? I see a mention of "under the virtual chassis section you should add the no-split-detection statement so you don't run into a split-brain scenario since you only have two switches" from this posthttp://serverfault.com/questions/278072/design-critique-needed-vlan-esxi
It does not appear that there is documentation on how to do this with a virtual Chassis?
