Hello Spicy Juniper peoples,
I recently replaced an older firewall with the SSG5. Everything is working very well since the other firewall was outdated and couldn't handle the load we were putting on it. Unfortunately we have one quirky issue that has come up when we connect to a remote DVR. The web page will load, we can download the provided plugin, but when we authenticate to view the stream there is an "unable to connect" issue we get.
This was working previous to the SSG5 and still works pre-firewall as well as in other locations we do not have the SSG5 installed. We have also contacted the DVR vendor and have troubleshot with them but ultimately its the new firewall causing problems.
I checked the security portion in the firewall for the untrust/trust networks and Active X blocking is not enabled. I also tried (bad idea I know)...
