I have a couple of the EX2200s and was wondering about port roles, specifically "routed uplink" vs "layer 2 uplink". I have two buildings connected with a P2P fiber connection and want the Juniper to connect to my cisco switch at my main site, we have two vlans, one date and the other VOIP. My Cisco port is trunked and I was wondering if I should go with Layer 2 or Routed uplink on the Juniper side or just basic trunk port. I have tried to find some documentation to explain the main difference between the two but no finding much. I am kind of new to the Junipers and trying to figure out the best way to configure these.
