Mpls-Rsvp with IS-IS IGP Backbone with eBGP (soon iBGP)

i work for a startup (real time video/audio applicaton) and i just designed their first Global Backbone using multiple unprotected diverse 10G wavelengths and MPLS-RSVP as the transport and IS-IS as the IGP. let me explain our setup and then ill ask my question...

I decided to run Junos 17.1R2S7 for our most of our edge routers ~MX480's MX80's (we collapse the P and PE router due to cost and we just are at the scale to need to separate those layers) and run 17.4R1S4.2 on our MX10k platform. Juniper recommended a new Junos for the MX10k as it is a newer platform.



So we i used IS-IS level 2 for all the Transport links while using the average RTT of the link as the metric. example if the avg rtt for a circuit between Ashburn and Amsterdam is 72.4ms then the IS-IS level 2 metric is 72 for that specific circuit. This ensures IS-IS maps out...
