I've just taken over a role as IT administrator for my company and have inherited a network consisting of Juniper EX4200s as the core switches. I've never worked with Juniper switches before. I wanted to log into these devices to review the configuration file and I was given a username and password but not the management IP. The previous administrator is no longer available to help.
I tried ssh'ing to a few IPs I thought might be correct but none are working. Its also possible that either access has been restricted to a particular IP or that telnet/SSH/http has been disabled altogether.
I do have connectivity to the access switches which are Juniper 3300 and i was planning to buy a console cable to try that but i was hoping to first eliminate the possibility that SSH access was enabled.
